ABOUT US
The focus of the SAICE Information Technology Division is to add value to educating our industry on new technologies, new developments, (for example the 4th Industrial Revolution, Artificial Intelligence, BIM, Cloud collaboration), both from a hardware, software and human perspective and to re-imagine our workflows through 2020 and beyond.
In line with our objectives, the division seeks to:
Expose new technologies that may become useful to the civil engineering profession, particularly as the traditional boundaries between engineering disciplines are becoming increasingly fluid.
Serve our members, by providing relevant content timeously, always taking cognisance of their needs.
To attract more professionals into the industry, particularly by encouraging young professionals to become aware of new technologies, whilst always maintaining regard to their social, environmental and economic impact.
